Santa in the forest at the gingerbread house

A Korsch Verlag traditional advent calender, Santa in the forest at the gingerbread house by Kurt Brandes. This one is from the 1980s but the design is older than that.
Currently on ebay because I have to move some out to get some in...

This year's Advent Calendars

I have long looked for the "clock" and Church of Seiffen. calendar, first printed in 1966 (in production until 1997). By R Hinderkus-Kutsche (1908-1986) for Korsch Verlag. This is I think, a 1980s reprint that I bought this year with several others - brand new old stock! Beautiful big illustrations
Then a calendar from Sweden illustrated by Aina Stenberg-Masolle ((1885-1975): “Utgiven av Treklövern. Offic. Org. för Sveriges Flickors Scoutförbund. BARNENS ADVENTSKALENDER Copyright” (Published by Treklövern. Sweden's Office. Org. of the Swedish Guide and Scout Girls' Association CHILDREN'S ADVENTSKALENDER Copyright) 1951
And the one at the front I bought for Ma - she says this is her first advent calendar. I suspect a reproduction of an older design. Korsch Verlag. The doors are all logical - doors in the illustration, windows, presents - the ones in trees have fircones, in sky star etc. Bought from an advent calendar seller in Germany

PS formatting all a bit space-y, will have to redo post at some point...

Krüger (1913-1983), Hamburg, Germany
Arthur Friedrich Krüger was registered in the commercial register since 1922.  In 1947 he expanded his publishing house to a printing house.  Krüger produced view, congratulation and Christmas cards in multicolor offset printing.  Also included Advent calendar and scraps to his product range.  The company, headquartered in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel, was the largest Western European postcard publisher in 1966 and used the company code "AFKH" and later "Krüger".

my favourite

Given to me by my Nan, probably early 1970's. I have finally managed to find a new one as the original has lost all its doors through over use - but not with the side flaps, so I've stuck them together for this photo.
I ought to photograph the one with the doors missing so you can see what's behind them...I'll be back next week.
